"WE WILL OVERCOME THE DEFICIENCIES AT DISASTER AREAS UNTIL THE START OF THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR"Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated that damage assessment activities continue at the schools located in the flood hit areas adding that, "We will overcome the deficiencies until the start of the new school year." Özer stressed that the Ministry has been working in an effort to provide all for the needs of the teachers led by accommodation.
The Ministry of National Education has been closely monitoring the situation of schools, teachers and students in the provinces declared as disaster areas. Commenting on the issue, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer said, "We have been closely monitoring the developments in places declared as disaster areas by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. We would like to express our condolences to those who have lost their beloved ones and wish quick recovery to those who were injured. Our state always supports our nation for the recovery of their losses and damages that occurred due to the floods."
Noting that damage assessment activities continue in the schools and they will be dealt with until the beginning of the new school year, Minister Özer said, "We take action through our provincial and regional directorates in an effort to respond to the needs of our teachers, especially that of accommodation."
